My General Orientation experience in Binus University

When I’m attending Freshmen Enrichment Program provided by Binus University, I was quite nervous because I’m going to start a new student life in Binus University. Especially when I was on the General Orientation program. I started to make some new friends. There’s a lot of things I’ve never done when I was in high school, because university have a different way of learning from high school.

I thought it would be hard to get used to campus life, for example, I need to tap my Binusian Card into the card reader for every class i attend, Guided Self Learning Class, and new learning style, which is studying outside of class hours. But my Buddy Coordinators really helped me to get a hold of my early campus life.

There’s a lot of things I’ve learned in General Orientation program, for example, Binus University’s rules, learning style, University’s common courtesy, activities outside of class hours, etc.

Maybe other batch have it, But the nice thing about my freshmen batch is that my Buddy Coordinators actually used some spare time when they’re introducing Binus University’s Lab Class to introduce us some programming basics, it helped me and my friends a lot.
